About the TKP workshop
Overview
This course has been designed by Kanban University Aka David J. Anderson, who got the principles of Kanban to IT and it has been re-designed to make it a highly interactive course for online learning.
This course shall be running for 1 day and has a mixture of interactive exercises, instructions, simulation, and pragmatic advice that be a key take away that can be practically implemented the very next day you are back into office.
Objectives
- Understand core concepts of the Kanban Method
- Learn the 3 Change Management Principles and the 6 General Practices of The Kanban Method
- Experience the benefit of WIP limits to improve flow
- How to run the Kanban meetings to focus on the work and allow the team to organize around it
- How to proceed to the next level with Kanban
Expected Outcomes
- Learn the basics of the Kanban Method
- Design and implement a Team Kanban Board to track tasks
- Learn Visualization and associated risk for different types of work
PREREQUISITES
Everyone with all experience levels are welcome. No previous Kanban training or experience is required to attend a TKP session.
