Lease Scheme
In early 2021 we made a number of nice changes regarding our lease arrangement. For those who missed this, here's a rundown:
Adjustment of standard annual mileage
Previously, the price of your car was calculated on an annual mileage of 40,000 km and a duration of 48 months. During the coronavirus pandemic, the average mileage of our fleet decreased and we expect this to continue due to hybrid working models post-lockdown. We have returned this advantage to you this year in the form of an adjustment to the standard mileage. This is set at 35,000 km per year and has a duration of 48 months. This means that you can drive a better car for the same lease budget!
Although free choice in a car is, of course, guaranteed, we think it is important to contribute to making our fleet more sustainable. Last year we set the goal to reduce the average mileage of our vehicle fleet by at least 25% by December 31, 2025. For the kilometers that have to be driven, we try to make sustainable options attractive and offer green alternatives to the lease car.
E-Bike option
One of these green alternatives is offering an e-bike through the lease budget. You can choose the e-bike if you use the mobility budget, even if you already drive a car. Free at-home charging station for Pon drivers
Because the Pon dealer does not work with standard mileage, we explored how best to meet Pon drivers’ needs while still working towards our goal to become more sustainable. This year we introduced a scheme that allows colleagues who drive an electric car via Pon to purchase a free at-home charging station (up to 2,500 incl. VAT including installation). The charging station is paid for by Xebia and depreciated over 4 years. After that, it’s yours to keep, free of charge. If you leave the company before the end of the depreciation period, you will pay the remaining value to Xebia.
As of 01.01.2022, the following changes will also apply to our lease scheme:
Maximum 15% refund dropped
A new feature of this scheme is the dropping of the maximum compensation of 15% of your lease standard if your lease budget is not fully utilized. So, what does that mean, exactly? If you drive a car with a monthly rate that is lower than your lease budget, this amount will be paid fully (gross) with your salary. As of 01.01.2022, this applies to the entire fleet!
