Our client is an airport operator for one of the busiest airports of Europe. The airport is ranked as sixth largest airport in terms of international traffic. It has major infrastructure to cater to which includes traffic, luggage and freight.The increasing traffic and ensuring reliability of existing infrastructure are major areas of concern for the client. Also, the client needed a mechanism to predict failures pertaining to sensors, conveyor belts and security checkers. The client approached Xebia to build an infrastructure that has the capability to perform analysis on large amount of airport data. Xebia’s team in collaboration with the client implemented the infrastructure so that Data Scientist team can perform predictive analysis which would facilitate handling of large amount of data.
