Our client is one of the biggest consulting firms that serves a broad mix of private, public and social sector institutions. It conducts qualitative and quantitative analysis to evaluate management decisions across sectors. The client has a large portfolio of varied products focused on managing existing products pertaining to cost and margin improvements and meeting the evolving business needs. The main challenge faced by the client was to have information visualization resources for the CIO and Development Heads to measure, showcase and improve product metrics for 70+ projects. In order to enable the management to rationalize, enhance and manage their product portfolio metrics, the client approached Xebia to assess and monitor the performance of their products through a common dashboard. Xebia worked in collaboration with the client and implemented SQALE model by using SonarQube as a tool that can summarize the status at portfolio level and give better business insights to management. The dashboard summarizes all key metrics in one snapshot and measures the technical and functional health of applications. Also, it offers reports on coding standards, code coverage, code complexity and potential bugs.
