What is exciting about the role?
As a backend developer - Backbase, you realise and embrace the pace of Javascript while keeping in mind the client landscape and his business. Your primary focus will be on developing user interface components and implementing them following well-known Backbase workflows. You will ensure that these components and the overall application are robust and easy to maintain. You will coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure.
What we look for in you?
- Backbase Front End Development experience is Mandatory
- Backbase Back End Development experience.
- Should have 2-8 years of hands-on experience in application development in an enterprise setu
- Strong OOPS knowledge, including experience with design patterns
- Experience with Java/JEE and open source frameworks/tools like Struts, Hibernate, Spring, Apache Camel, Maven, Ant, Subversion, Git, xUnit etc.
- Experience with relational databases like MySQL/Oracle
- Experience with enterprise application servers like Tomcat/Weblogic/Websphere.
- Excellent analytical aptitude and problem solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer interfacing skills.
Desired skills we're looking for:
- Experience with Agile, Scrum, XP, TDD, Continuous Integration will be a huge plus.
- Experience with Web Services – SOAP and RESTFUL
- Blogger, Conference Speaker, Open Source Contributor
Location: Pune
Educational Qualification
Engineering Degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience from an institution of high repute in India or abroad.
