Irene is a trainer and Scrum Master at Xebia. She is very passionate about guiding others with the application of Scrum and Agile practices. She is familiar with Scrum, Kanban, XP, and Lean Startup.

Since 2015 she has been training in Agile and Scrum, sharing her enthusiasm and experience with others. Most valuable to her is an interactive training where you’ll be able to connect your context with the theory.

In recent years she has been an Agile coach, in which she takes several teams and the surrounding organization on a journey to become more Agile. She has been en route to ABN AMRO, VodafoneZiggo, and Schiphol Group. She has broad practical experience and knows the dilemmas and practical examples of how it worked here. 

Irene is pragmatic, enthusiastic and creative. She holds a master’s in economics and has also worked in Scrum teams as Analyst, Scrum Master, and Product Owner. She did so at organization such as PGGM, ABN AMRO, and Evident.
