DEVOPS ENGINEER

Levent Tutar

As Xebians, we strive for solutions, not problems, and work to unburden the IT managers. Currently, I’m working as a DevOps engineer at one of the biggest Dutch banks, helping to automate their software from the version control system to production. I’m using tools and software like BitBucket, Jenkins, Nexus, XL Release, XL Deploy, Docker, and others to implement the continuous delivery pipeline.

Working at Xebia allows me to improve my skills, which I sincerely value.  For example, a couple of years ago, I was provisioning the target systems like JBoss, Tomcat, WebLogic with Puppet, Salt, and Ansible. Now, I am providing automated continuous delivery pipeline to developers. You reinvent yourself with each job and move on to the next level.
But I don’t do it alone. My colleagues are peers who share a similar passion for their work. Together, we make a difference with a can-do-attitude, which makes working at Xebia really inspiring.

As consultants, we don’t get the chance to interact on a day-to-day basis. But fortunately, Xebia overcomes this by organizing team events, knowledge sharing exchanges, and innovation days so we get to know each other more personally.

At Xebia, you’re never just an employee and a number; you’re surrounded by people who care about you and your story.
